Sorcery: Contested Realm Coming To SCG CON Events This Year

Sorcery to hold Crossroads Championships at three SCG CONs in 2025

Star City Games is partnering with Erik’s Curiosa Limited to bring Sorcery: Contested Realm to upcoming SCG CON events starting in October.

Sorcery, a trading card game that launched in 2022 on Kickstarter, will debut at SCG CON Houston on October 17-19 and offer players multiple ways to get in on the Sorcery action. From learn-to-play sessions, casual events, and competitive championship tournaments, there is something for everyone looking to play Sorcery.

While Sorcery kicks off at SCG CON Houston, it will also appear at SCG CON Baltimore on October 24-26 and SCG CON Las Vegas on November 21-23 to round out the year. Sorcery will be supported in community and champion events, using multiple formats like Precon, Sealed, and Constructed. Saturdays will feature the Crossroads Championships, which are open-entry regional championships with unique prizes.

The SCG CON prize wall will support Sorcery and offer an exclusive City of Glass playmat, boasting art from Adam Burke.

Players can learn more about Sorcery on its website, where it provides learn-to-play guides, organized play roadmaps, and card image galleries. Sorcery is designed by Erik Olofsson and Nickolas Reynolds. The game features art from known illustrators like Jeff A. Menges, Bryon Wackwitz, and Drew Tucker.
