The first product to come from the new Magic: The Gathering Chaos Vault via the Secret Lair shop has been revealed.
Teased yesterday, the Chaos Vault is described by Wizards of the Coast (WotC) as “a new test lab that we’ll be playing around in from time to time. Sometimes there will be Secret Lair Drops, and sometimes there will be other things.”
The first offering will be a Secret Lair drop named “The Fairest Drop Of All” and is selection of four foil cards with a “reversible” treatment. The cards have illustrations on one side and the rules text and more on the other side.
The cards featured in The Fairest Drop Of All are:
- Estrid’s Invocation
- Steely Resolve
- Estrid, the Masked
- Tuvasa, the Sunlit
Illustrations for the cards are by Jessica Hische, Simen Meyer, Yehrin Tong and Teagan White. The drop is only available in foil and costs $24.99. The drop is limited to one per customer and is on sale now. Shipping for it starts on Wednesday, December 11.
