Top Decks And Winners From SCG CON Baltimore

SCG CON Baltimore is in the books! Check out all the winners over the weekend and the decklists from the Magic: The Gathering, Flesh and Blood, Disney Lorcana, Star Wars: Unlimited, and One Piece events.

Modern $10K

Derek Pite won the Modern $10K on Saturday with Bant Nadu.

Pite won the 349-person event, defeating Jack Potter in a Bant Nadu finals. Five of the Top 8 players were on Bant Nadu, including all of the Top 4. Pite walked away with the trophy and $2,000 while the entire Top 8 earned cash and qualifications to the Season 3, Round 2 Regional Championship.

Legacy $5K

Ryan Freeburger won the Legacy $5K on Sunday with Grixis Midrange.

Freeburger took down the tournament with a Delver-like Grixis list without the iconic Delver of Secrets, instead opting for threats like Nethergoyf and Psychic Frog from Modern Horizons 3. Freeburger beat Stefan Vastek on Eldrazi in the finals.

Legacy $1K

Sullivan Brophy won the Legacy $1K on Friday with Dimir Reanimator.

Brophy was one of three players in the Top 8 on Dimir Reanimator, the deck most people are expecting to see targeted with bans on August 26. Brophy defeated Brennan Creasap, also on Dimir Reanimator, in the finals.

cEDH $5K

Trent Cory won the cEDH $5K on Saturday with Sisay, Weatherlight Captain.

Cory emerged victorious from the final pod of 4 also featuring Sullivan Brophy on Tymna and Jeska, Chris Connolly on Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer, and Joseph Curry also on Sisay.

cEDH $1K

Alden McClure won the cEDH $1K on Sunday with Malcolm and Tana.

McClure outlasted the final pod also featuring Thomas Mascola on Jadzi, Oracle of Arcavios, William Hunt on Zur the Enchanter, and Daniel Wooley on Marath, Will of the Wild.

Zachary Adams won the Classic Constructed Pro Quest+ on Saturday with Nuu, Alluring Desire.

Ian Klein won the Premier Constructed $2K on Saturday with Han Solo, Audacious Smuggler. Klein followed up this win by taking down the Premier Constructed $1K on Sunday with the same decklist.

One Piece Constructed $2K

Freddie Wirth won the first ever SCG CON One Piece event, taking down the Constructed $2K with Luffy.

Ryan AuCoin was the runner-up with Lucci.
