As part of an ongoing series of weekly changes, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced the updates and changes for Week 10 of Streets of New Capenna on Magic Online.
Double Masters 2022 Comes To Magic Online Tomorrow
Following tomorrow’s downtime, Double Masters 2022 will appear in Treasure Chests. Leagues will launch on Thursday and will be accompanied by release events, with more details coming tomorrow. More information on the contents of Treasure Chests can be found here.
Updates To Vintage and Standard Leagues
To fight anticompetitive behavior in leagues with smaller participation, Magic Online is adjusting prize payouts in Standard and Vintage Leagues. The new prize structure for these leagues will now be:
- 5 wins – 140 Play Points and 5 Treasure Chests
- 4 wins – 120 PP and 4 TC
- 3 wins – 100 PP and 1 TC
- 2 wins – 50 PP and 1 TC
The changes to the leagues will go into effect during downtime tomorrow.
