Pozo, Mono-White Aggro❄, Wins Redbull Untapped 2021 International Stop 3

Rafael Quinta Pozo comes out on top of 979-person event with Mono-White Aggro.

Rafael Quinta Pozo won the Redbull Untapped 2021 International Stop 3 on Sunday with Mono-White Aggro❄.


Pozo ran through the Swiss undefeated, reaching the platinum division (the Top 16 players after Day 1) before going 3-0 on Day 2 to enter the Top 8 as the #1 seed. After making the Top 8, Pozo defeated Koutarou Ishibashi on Jund Midrange, Nikos Kelaidis on Mono-Green Aggro❄, and Remi Foriter on Izzet Epiphany to take first place and win $4,000 with a record of 13-0.

The free-to-enter tournament had 979 players with the Top 64 players advancing to play in Day 2 among the four divisions. Simón Arboleda Escobar finished in second place overall and first in the gold division for $2,000 with a record of 11-2 with Mono-White Aggro❄.


Scott McNamara won the the silver division with Izzet Epiphany for $1,000, and Janusz Jędrzejczyk (Guardianthesecond on MTG Melee) won the bronze division with Mono-White Aggro❄ for $500.



Just over 20% of the field was on Mono-White Aggro❄ with the addition of Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and some players using Hopeful Initiate from Innistrad: Crimson Vow. Mono-Green Aggro❄ was the second-most played deck, gaining Ascendant Packleader from Innistrad: Crimson Vow, while Izzet Epiphany came in third with some lists playing no new cards while others went with Abrade and Hullbreaker Horror.
