As part of an ongoing series of weekly changes, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced the updates and changes for Week 5 of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt on Magic Online.
Eternal Weekend 2021 Dates Announced
Eternal Weekend returns in November, once again being run on Magic Online with three flights for Legacy and Vintage that reward play points, treasure chests, and oversized cards with new original art for first place in each event. Legacy prizes include oversized cards with new art for Wasteland, Bayou, and Sylvan Libary.
The Wasteland event starts at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on Nov. 19, the Bayou event starts at 5 AM ET/2 AM PT on Nov. 20, and the Sylvan Library event starts at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT on Nov. 21.
The Vintage oversized cards include Mox Emerald, Timetwister, and Mox Ruby.
The Mox Emerald event starts at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on Nov. 26, the Timetwister event starts at 5 AM ET/2 AM PT on Nov. 27, and the Mox Ruby event starts at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT on Nov. 28.
Each event requires an entry token, which costs $25 and provides an all-access account until Dec. 1. Events require a minimum 128 players to fire and have a cap of 1,248 players. Vintage Cube Update
New changes to the Vintage Cube will swap 30 cards, bringing back and introducing new cards that encourage build-around strategies. Read the article by Emma Handy that covers the changes and idea behind them.
