JayGravy won the Standard 2022 Hooglandia Open on Saturday with Mono-Green Aggro❄.

JayGravy went undefeated through nine rounds to win the 51-person double-elimination tournament, winning a mirror match against prototypeinsession in the finals. Three of the players in the Top 8 of the standings effectively played green aggro decks, with the top two finishers playing stock Mono-Green Aggro❄ while Chris VanMeter splashed blue for Decisive Denial and sideboard counterspells, going away from the snow angle.

Two copies of Izzet Dragons finished in the Top 8, both shying away from the snow builds from current Standard and instead going heavier on Dragons with Iymrith, Desert Doom and Inferno of the Star Mounts. The fourth-place list ramped with Orb of Dragonkind while the eighth-place list played more like a control deck.

Another interesting list was the third-place finisher, Orzhov Angels by Phillip M.
