In an update to their creative philosophy on telling stories, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) posted a brief article noting that some stories going forward will not be available in certain markets. Their philosophy in brief is:
We will tell the stories we want to tell, featuring the characters and relationships that best serve the story and our audience. Our focus will be crafting engaging and relatable stories. These stories will have diverse casts of characters with varied experiences, challenges, and adventures.
The article said that this direction allows the creative team to tell stories reflective of the community and its values. Next week, WotC will introduce characters in Kaldheim.
