Wizards of the Coast (WotC) is creating an official Discord server for Magic: the Gathering.
The Magic Twitter account tweeted out that a new official Discord server is being made and is under construction. The server is named “Magic: the Gathering Official” and so far has three channels:
- Welcome and Rules
- New and Announcements
- Important Links
In the future, the server will be used for previews, SpellTable channels, and more. The Twitter account also confirmed that the server will have a full-time moderation staff to make sure the server is a safe space for all players.
The server has a process that must be completed before users can talk in the server, though anyone can join.
