Learn more about the first Zonal Championship for the new Vibes TCG

History is in the making! SCG CON Hartford will play host to the first ever Championship of the Americas for Vibes, a new digital and physical trading card game designed by Orange Cap Games, on May 18 in Hartford, Conn.

Vibes burst onto the scene in late 2024 with its debut set, Enter the Huddle. Featuring the massively popular Pudgy Penguins IP, this game is making waves—and now it’s leveling up with a major Organized Play roadmap, leading to a tabletop World Championship in December.

Don’t let the charming aesthetic fool you—Vibes is a game of deep strategy, dynamic decision-making, and skillful play. With layers of interaction, every match offers opportunities for both clever tactics and long-term planning, delivering a rewarding experience for both casual players and competitive strategists alike. SCG CON Hartford is where a champion will rise! The Championship of the Americas is the first of three Zonal Championships, each serving as a pathway to the World Championship. Players will compete for a $20,000 prize pool, with the Top 8 earning invites to the Vibes World Championship! But that’s not all— every competitor walks away with an exclusive playmat and a limited-edition physical and digital promo card. In addition to cash prizes, top finishers will also snag exclusive physical promos while the winner gets a special first-place prize and a bye at the World Championship.

The Europe and Asia Zonal Championships are in the works, with details coming soon. Meanwhile, players can also punch their ticket to the World Championship through online play, accumulating Pro Points, and by winning the Last Chance Qualifier tournament.

Players can learn more about the Vibes Organized Play program, its prizing, and philosophy on the game’s website.
