Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Daily MTG, check out another card originally from a Commander product to get timeshifted in Time Spiral Remastered — True-Name Nemesis!
True-Name Nemesis turned the Legacy format on its head immediately after the release of Commander: 2013 Edition, finding a role in Stoneblade and Delver strategies. Nothing wore a Batterskull or Umezawa’s Jitte quite like a creature with protection from your opponent and for Delver decks, it was often the way to sneak in the last few points of damage for a win. Now the card that has only been playable in Legacy, Vintage, and Commander is getting a timeshifted frame to match the age of its eternal formats.
Daily MTG also previewed the reprint of Wipe Away, an uncommon bounce spell with split second that can even target lands like its predecessor, Boomerang.
You can also see three commons that are coming back in Time Spiral Remastered: Looter il-Kor, Infiltrator il-Kor, and Drifter il-Dal.
Time Spiral Remastered is currently scheduled to release on March 19, 2021. You can check out our official Time Spiral Remastered preview gallery here.
