The Born of the Gods 2/4 was a Standard linchpin for Abzan Midrange and Gruul decks at the time, allowing players to gain life and card advantage by playing lands from the top of their library. Being an enchantment is an important distinction for the card, as it makes it weak to not only creature removal but enchantment removal.
The timeshifted frame raises some questions with Courser of Kruphix as it is much harder to tell that it is an enchantment like its original printing. Players will have to resort to reading the type line to know the creature’s additional card type.
