Originally printed in Mirrodin, Sylvan Scrying has a storied history of play in many ramp strategies over the years before settling into a more permanent home in Mono-Green Tron in Modern. Sylvan Scrying has been printed five times with the sixth coming in Time Spiral Remastered.
Printed alongside Sylvan Scrying were two additional green search spells: Edge of Autumn and Search for Tomorrow.
