The addition of Ignoble Hierarch to enable casting Phyrexian Crusader gives Infect a new tool to attack removal heavy decks like Grixis, Jund, and Rakdos and it came up big in the quarters and semis. On top of the added resiliency, Infect still has the tools to win quickly when not disrupted in matchups like Orzhov Hammer, Amulet Titan, and Temur Crashcade.
Segal was one of the players in the field on Sultai Infect, a rogue strategy in the current Modern format.
