Riftbound, the League of Legends trading card game from Riot, exploded onto the tabletop gaming scene late this year with the release of its inaugural set, Origins.
Looking ahead to 2026, Riot plans to have Riftbound in full swing with four major set releases:
- February 2026: Spiritforged
- May 2026: Unleashed
- Q3 2026: Vendetta
- Q4 2026: Radiance

Spiritforged – February 13, 2026
Spiritforged, Riftbound’s sophomore set, makes its official debut on December 12 of this year in China, but won’t make its way stateside until February 2026. Despite being a smaller set compared to Origins, Spiritforged will still inject over 200 new cards to the game, plus 12 new Champions, new mechanics, and more.
Unleashed – May 2026
Unleashed will be the second Riftbound release in 2026 and third expansion overall. While details are currently limited, the set’s key art showcases popular characters like Vi, LeBlanc, Master Yi, and Rengar.
Vendetta – Q3 2026
Slated for release in the later months of 2026, Vendetta will be Riftbound’s fourth expansion and will likely feature Ambessa, Mel, and Akali as the set’s new champions. Additionally, Riot has identified Vendetta as the set in which they hope to merge the separate regional release dates for China and the United States into one global release.
