Kristof Prinz won the Players Tour Finals with Four-Color Reclamation after cruising through the upper bracket until grand finals of Saturday’s Top 8 playoff.

In a bracket split between four Reclamation decks and four decks looking to target the format’s top deck, Prinz tallied another trophy for Wilderness Reclamation and co. Prinz reached grand finals by defeating Patrick Fernandes on Temur Reclamation, Christoffer Larsen on Jund Sacrifice, and Riku Kumagai on Mono-Black Aggro.

Kumagai earned a rematch against Prinz by coming out of the lower bracket with a 2-0 win over Michael Jacob on Mardu Winota, after Jacob clawed all the way through the lower bracket. Kumagai took the first match against Prinz in grand finals, needing to take one more before Prinz could win two.

But the second match win never came for Kumagai as Prinz found himself on the edge of defeat in the next match before clawing back and forcing a third and final match. Prinz was once again a turn away from defeat in Match 3, but some timely top decks, an active Uro, Titan of Nature’s Wrath, and one final Explosion sealed the deal for the German.
