The Top 8 of the Modern Super Qualifier featured several innovative decks, including Yorion Jeskai Control, Five-Color Niv-Mizzet, and an Azorius Control list that would eventually be paired up against the winning Lurrus Jund list in the finals.

Four of the Top 8 decks utilized companions (Lurrus of the Dream-Den and Yorion, Sky Nomad), however beyond the companions and a few Triomes, there were no new cards from Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths included in any of the decks.
