Kozoukun not only drafted a Lutri, the Spellchaser deck in the Top 8, but was able to get two copies — one for the maindeck and one as the companion. On top of having two Lutris, the deck contained more powerful rares like Everquill Phoenix, Voracious Greatshark and Genesis Ultimatum.
Kozoukun took down a Rakdos deck in the quarterfinals before beating a different companion deck, a Yorion Azorius deck in the semifinals. A 2-0 win over 7720 on Mardu wrapped up the victory for Kozoukun.
