Just like white got a dog lord in Pack Leader, green gets a cat lord. But for an extra mana, Feline Sovereign offers more than the dog counterpart starting with an extra toughness.
Other Cats you control get +1+1 and have protection from Dogs.
While Pack Leader only grants +1+1, Feline Sovereign does that and makes the pride untouchable in the great dog versus cat divide. The cats will slink by in combat and scare off any dog looking to fight back.
Whenever one or more Cats you control deal combat damage to a player, destroy up to one target artifact or enchantment that player controls.
In perfect cat fashion, precious objects are waiting to be knocked over just as depicted in the art of Feline Sovereign. For Standard purposes, it will allow cats to dismantle problematic cards like Witch’s Oven, Wilderness Reclamation, Elspeth Conquers Death, Trail of Crumbs, Cavalcade of Calamity, Embercleave, Stonecoil Serpent, and much more.
