For green day of Time Spiral Remastered preview season, Gavin Verhey used Good Morning Magic to give some lore on reprints, capping the video with a timeshifted Modern staple — Primeval Titan!

Verhey started off with some Time Spiral block reprints ranging from common, uncommon, and rare. Greenseeker is a Elf Spellshaper based off the original Spellshapers from Mercadian Masques. Spellshapers are creatures that you let you activate an ability that has already been a spell in Magic history. Greenseeker shapes the spell Lay of the Land and acts as a mana fixer, discard outlet, and way to thin your deck.

Scryb Ranger is a combination of two old cards: Scryb Sprites and Quirion Ranger while Life and Limb was based off Living Lands.

Verhey’s bonus sheet card of the day is Primeval Titan, the Modern all-star from Titanshift and Amulet Titan decks. While Prime Time is too good for Commander and was banned from the 100-card format, it’s a beloved card and the go-to Giant for players looking to ramp in older formats. Primeval Titan is the only one of the original five Titans to come back in Time Spiral Remastered.

Time Spiral Remastered is currently scheduled to release on March 19, 2021. You can check out our official Time Spiral Remastered preview gallery here.
