Commander Legends Delayed Until Late November

WotC announces delays for all Commander Legends products.

Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced that due to “production challenges” caused by COVID-19, the release of Commander Legends has been delayed globally until November 20.

According to WotC, this delay is being applied to the global launch of the product including “all Commander Legends products: Draft Boosters, Collector Boosters, and Commander Decks…” in order to “provide all players a complete Magic experience at the same time…”.

While not elaborated upon further, this statement implies that the aforementioned shipping issues are likely only affecting some parts of the world, but WotC has opted for a blanket delay to keep the release of Commander Legends uniform across all regions.

Commander Legends prerelease events are now scheduled to take place starting November 13, with preview season official starting later this month on October 26.
