What else needs to be said about this insanely powerful planeswalker? First printed in Fate Reforged, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon dominated Standard, was slotted into Mono-Green Tron in Modern, and found a home in green ramp decks in Pioneer.
+2: Ugin, the Spirit Dragon deals 3 damage to any target.

-X: Exile each permanent with converted mana cost X or less that’s one ore more colors.
This ability is what makes Ugin an absolute bomb and almost always ends the game on the spot. Surviving to cast Ugin and exiling your opponent’s whole battlefield is just GG.
-10: You gain 7 life, draw seven cards, then put up to seven permanent cards from your hand onto the battlefield.
Do games really ever go long enough for you to activate this ability? If your opponent didn’t concede to losing their whole battlefield, an Ugin whose +2 gets used twice can also close out the game immediately with this ultimate ability. Gain all the life, draw all the cards, and then build a battlefield in one simple step!
