Candreva, Simic Titan, Wins Grand Prix Austin

This past weekend, the first MagicFest of the new year was held in Austin, Texas. The Top 8 featured seven unique decks and, while seemingly diverse, half of the decks were actually just various builds of Urza strategies.

Christopher Candreva, who piloted the explosive Simic Titan deck, battled his way through an Urza-filled Top 8, eventually defeating Marcus Luong (Bant Urza) 2-0 in the finals.
