As part of an ongoing series of weekly changes, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced the updates and changes for Week 4 of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms on Magic Online.
Bant Cube
Created by Autumn Burchett, the Bant Cube “mixes synergy-focused archetypes with pockets of random interaction to create a sense of discovery…”. The Bant Cube will run from August 4-11 and you can read more about it here.
Season 3 Premier Play
This weekend, players will be able to redeem 40 Qualifier Points (QPs) to enter the Magic Online Champions Showcase (MOCS) events. The MOCS are “linked events designed to highlight the best players on Magic Online each season, culminating in the Champions Showcase and its prize pool of $70,000 and a Set Championship invitation.”

MOCS Qualifier Point Expiration And Last Chance Events
Players will have until August 11 at 10 AM PT to use their MOCS Season 2 QPs. Last Chance Qualifier events are scheduled to run from August 8-11 and will cost “30 Event Tickets plus 40 Qualifier Points, or 300 Play Points plus 40 QPs to enter.” Players who win all five matches will earn an “Entry Token good for that format’s Showcase Qualifier later this month.”
