Late last week, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) shared a first look at an upcoming release from Magic: The Gathering’s Secret Lair Chaos Vault.
For those not in the know, the Chaos Vault is a branch of Secret Lair dedicated to more obscure, experimental one-off drops; a place where WotC can “…stretch [their] creative muscles or just do one-off, cool, weird things.”
The inaugural Chaos Vault release, The Fairest of Them All, was revealed back in early December and contained four cards, illustrated by Jessica Hische, Simen Meyer, Yehrin Tong and Teagan White. In addition to having more unconventional artwork, the drop was limited to one per-customer and only available in traditional foil.
Moving on to the upcoming Chaos Vault release, fans can get their hands on a set of full-art basic lands featuring psychedelic artwork by Scott Balmer.

While a title for this drop has not been shared at this time, WotC did confirm that this will be the first Secret Lair release that includes multiple copies of each land (10 to be exact), which should be a big quality of life improvement for those who require a matching manabase.
In addition to the land drop, WotC also gave a first-look at the artwork for future Secret Lair Chaos Vault releases. Check them out below!

At this time, no pricing information or a release date has been provided, but those interested can keep an eye on the Chaos Vault landing page.
