SCG CON Charlotte is in the books. Check out the winners from all the events and decklists from the Modern $20K and $10K.

Modern $20K

Daniel Buchanan won the Modern $20K with Living End on Sunday.

Buchanan entered the elimination rounds as the No. 1 seed with a record of 11-1-1 in the Swiss. He cruised through the Top 12, winning the 503-person event with a 2-1 win against Will Pulliam on Azorius Hammer in the finals. The Top 12 consisted of 10 different archetypes, with Izzet Midrange and Hammer decks (Azorius and Selesnya) as the only repeat archetypes. Buchanan won $3,000 and the Top 4 earned invites to the Regional Championship at DreamHack.

Modern $10K

Ashlen Johnson took down the Modern $10K on Sunday with Izzet Midrange.

Johnson cut through the Swiss without a loss at 6-0-1 and she didn’t stop winning, ending the event with a victory over Blake Nunez on Golgari Yawgmoth in the finals. Johnson and Nunez both claimed invites to the Regional Championship at DreamHack on top of their prize money.

Battle Hardened

Michael Feng won the Classic Constructed Battle Hardened with Oldhim, Grandfather of Eternity on Saturday.

The Top 8 showed off six different heroes, but Feng emerged on top with Oldhim, winning $500, a PTI, and a random gold cold foil legendary card. Feng’s winning list can be seen here.

Professional Tournament Invitational

Brodie Spurlock won the Classic Constructed Professional Tournament Invitational on Sunday with Oldhim, Grandfather of Eternity.

Spurlock earned 1,500 prize wall tickets, a gold cold foil prize card, and a PTI for his efforts.

SCG CON returns with more Magic: The Gather and Flesh and Blood Action next month in Richmond. The event will also host CommandFest and runs from April 14-16. More details will be available soon.
