Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has released their weekly MTG Arena update that includes details on Phyrexia: All Will Be One coming to the client, upcoming events, and more.
Phyrexia: All Will Be One Arrives Tomorrow
The next Magic: The Gathering set hits MTG Arena tomorrow along with the usual assortment of bundles and goodies. On top of Limited events for Phyrexia: All Will Be One and the cards being legal for constructed formats, the store will be packed with deals. Card styles bundles include: borderless dual lands, showcase concept praetors, Ichor styles: Legion of Phyrexia, Ichor styles: Horrors of Phyrexia, and Showcase Mirran Legend styles.
Two sets of full-art basic land bundles will also be available.
Welcome To Phyrexia Festival Begins Tomorrow
A new monthlong event is coming to Arena, starting tomorrow. The Welcome to Phyrexia Festival event kicks off with the Compleatly Outmatched event featuring Historic Brawl preconstructed decks on February 7-13. Enter for 5,000 gold or 1,000 gems and play until the event ends, earning borderless planeswalker manga card styles for each win up to five.
Five more events will follow:
- February 13–16: The Autonomous Furnace
- February 16–19: The Hunter Maze
- February 19–22: The Surgical Bay
- February 22–25: The Dross Pits
- February 25–28: The Fair Basilica
These five events will be Singleton, but each one has its own unique emblem to impact gameplay. Find all the details on each event here.
Standard Metagame Challenge Starts Friday
With a new set coming to Standard, it’s time for another Standard Metagame Challenge. Bring your best Standard deck (Best-of-Three) and battle it out for a top prize of 30 packs of Phyrexia: All Will Be One and 5,000 gold. Entry fee is 2,000 gold or 400 gems, play until you reach seven wins or one loss. The event will run until February 13.
