Next Arena Open Will Be Kaldheim Limited

Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has released their weekly MTG Arena update that includes details on the next Arena Open, upcoming Phyrexia: All Will Be One bundles, and more.

Next Arena Open Set For January 21-22

The next Arena Open is coming later this month and features a blast from the past with Kaldheim Limited. Compete to win $2,000 and an invitation to the Qualifier Weekend. Day 1 features Sealed with Best-of-One or Best-of-Three play on January 21, while Day 2 features two Drafts on January 22. Entry fee is 25,000 gold or 5,000 gems. All entries reward a Memory Lapse Mystical Archive card sleeve.

Preorder Phyrexia: All Will Be One Bundles Next Week

Starting with Phyrexia: All Will Be One, the MTG Arena store will offer three types of preorder bundles with two of them coming at a lower price than usual. The 50 pack bundle remains $49.99 and includes five golden packs, a Jace card, sleeve, and card style. The play bundle, which has been shifted to a Limited focus bundle, costs $24.99 and comes with two player draft tokens, a Sealed token, five play-in points, a Koth card, sleeve, and card style. The new pass bundle includes the mastery pass, a Flensing Raptor pet, Elesh Norn card, sleeve, and card style for $14.99.

All three bundles will go on sale on January 17. Players will immediately get access to the card sleeve from their bundle, but the rest of the contents will be released on the Phyrexia: All Will Be One release date of February 7.

Best-of-Three Qualifier Play-In On January 13

The next Qualifier Play-In is set for Friday, featuring Best-of-Three Alchemy. Players that reach four wins can play in the Qualifier Weekend that follows on Saturday and Sunday, where they can earn an invite to the second Arena Championship. The Qualifier Weekend will also be Best-of-Three Alchemy. More details on Play-Ins and Qualifier Weekends can be found here.

Arena Decathlon Continues

The Arena Decathlon is up to its fifth and sixth leg, with Alchemy and The Brothers’ War Traditional Phantom Drafts running through tomorrow. Get a full break down of the Arena Decathlon here.
