Following preview season tradition, Magic: The Gathering Head Designer, Mark Rosewater, has shared a teaser for Wilds of Eldraine to his Blogatog.
While each bullet provides a partial hint for things to come within the set, a few of the most interesting details include a new token type, adventures on a new permanent type, legendary foods, and “a new mechanic that batches together three items that have been in the game since Alpha, but never batched before.”
Additionally, Rosewater shared several of the creature types included in the set:
- Rabbit Unicorn
- Elemental Raccoon
- Elf Fox Knight
- Legendary Creature – Rat Noble
- Legendary Creature – Human Warlock Bard
He also included the names of a few cards in the set – something that appears to be a new mainstay in his teaser tradition:
- Candy Grapple
- Charming Scoundrel
- Food Fight
- Protective Parents
- Scream Puff
- Stroke of Midnight
- A Tale for the Ages
- Three Blind Mice
- Three Bowls of Porridge
- Up the Beanstalk

Wilds of Eldraine is scheduled to release on September 8.
