Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Nickelodeon took the stage at New York Comic Con (NYCC) today to unveil the upcoming Universes Beyond crossover set — Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be the second set release of 2026, coming in March. The set’s product lineup will feature everything fans have come to expect from recent Universes Beyond releases, including Play and Collector Boosters, Preconstructed Commander decks, and more.
Main Set Previews
The sneak mechanic might look familiar to long-time Magic players, as it is similar to Ninjutsu, allowing you to cast a spell for its alternate sneak cost if you also return an unblocked attacker you control to your hand, but the main difference is it must be cast during the declare blockers step.
No TMNT set would be complete without the franchise’s iconic villains. Take a look at Shredder, Krang, and Bebop & Rocksteady!
The good guys get plenty of support as well, however. Check out April O’Neil, Casey Jones, and the art for Master Splinter!

Booster Fun
Fans will be able to chase four borderless headliner cards, featuring art by the original TMNT illustrator, Kevin Eastman.
There will also be 20 Source Material cards featuring original TMNT artwork.
TMNT Commander
Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will feature only one five-color Preconstructed Commander deck — Turtle Power! All four of the Turtles are the deck’s commanders, and each one has partner, allowing players to mix and match the Turtles for a more unique gameplay experience.
Bundles
Pizza Bundle
The TMNT Pizza Bundle includes “everyone’s favorite slice of the set” like Pizza Lands, Collector Boosters, and two (of six total) unique promo cards from “Magic’s Past,” each with new, pizza themed artwork.
Turtle Team-Up
The Turtle Team-Up Bundle is a “2-4 player co-op experience,” perfect for new and veteran players alike.
