After Eugene “Flash” Thompson, a former rival and bully of Peter Parker, returns home from losing both of his legs in the Iraq War he becomes Agent Venom by bonding to the Venom symbiote. The Agent Venom suit can overtake Thompson and make the veteran turn into a brutal killing machine. His Magic: The Gathering portrayal shows him as a 2/3 legendary creature with flash and menace and the ability to draw a card and lose a life whenever a nontoken creature you control dies.
Thompson’s story arc takes him from a soldier to a Secret Avenger and eventually Agent Anti-Venom, where upon his death, he returns as an incarnated symbiote dragon resembling his Anti-Venom symbiote that digs up his body and re-inhabits his human form.
