IGN unveiled the contents of the Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender Beginner Box, previewing tons of new cards and reprints with Avatar-themed art. The Beginner Box for the set, similar to the one for Foundations, provides a great way for new players to learn and play Magic with the help of Jumpstart Boosters. The Beginner Box contains cards from the main set and the Jumpstart set. Cards with the TLA set code are legal in Standard and everywhere else while the cards with the TLE set code are eternal-legal.
Each Beginner Box contains:
- 10 Themed Jumpstart half-decks
- Two (2) of these Jumpstart half-decks are tutorial decks and are designed to be played against each other.
- Each half-deck includes 20 cards. Shuffle two together and play!
- 5 Non-foil tokens
- 2 Gameboard playmats
- 2 “How to Play” guides
- 2 Reference cards
- 2 Spindown dice
- 1 Reference guide booklet
