Magic: The Gathering has partnered with The Jim Henson Company to produce a short film that will debut with the Lorwyn Eclipsed World Premiere on Monday.
Polygon revealed a making-of video today that included first looks at some of the puppets that will be included along with interviews with some of the creative forces behind the film. Brian Henson, Chairman of The Jim Henson Company and the son of the late creator of the Muppets, discussed the creative process behind the film and the history of The Jim Henson Company working in the fantasy realm.
The film will help celebrate the return to the world of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor and kick off the official preview season of Lorwyn Eclipsed. The behind-the-scenes video from Polygon showed some flashes of the film and looks at what appears to be one of the main characters, a very Muppet-esque boggart.
Magic fans can watch the short film and the Lorwyn Eclipsed World Premiere at 1:00 PM EST/10:00 AM PST on Monday on the MTG YouTube or Twitch channels.
