Final Fantasy Holiday Release — December 5, 2025

Before we dive into the sets coming in 2026, take a look at the product offerings for the Holiday Release of Magic: The Gathering | Final Fantasy, starting with this WPN promo of Yuna, Grand Summoner.

There will also be four Scene Boxes which include six cards, three Play Boosters, and six art cards and an easel to display them on. Contents of three of the boxes were revealed, but the third box will be unveiled later this year.

Another release of the Limit Break Commander Deck will come in a Game Edition that includes a code for the PC version of Final Fantasy 7.

A new Chocobo Bundle will include 10 Play Boosters, a Birds of Paradise promo, Chocobo basic lands, a Chocobo life counter, and two new promos.

A smattering of the possible promos can be seen below, featuring Locke, Mog, Vivi, and more.

The Magic: The Gathering | Final Fantasy Holiday Release is set for December 5.

Lorwyn Eclipsed — January 23, 2026

Players have clamored for a return to Lorwyn and it will finally come at the start of next year with Lorwyn Eclipsed. The set shows the world as it is torn between Lorwyn and Shadowmoor, with the cards and characters displaying versions in day/night.

The art in the set is shocking … read on for more on these illustrations.

How about some previews? Feast your eyes on DFCs, familiar characters, the return of Changelings, evoke, and hybrid mana.

The Booster Fun treatments stand out in a world of amazing art. Bitterbloom Bearer is the headliner for the set, featuring multiple treatments. The serialized version with art by Rebecca Guay will be the absolute chase card from the set.

The Fabled Frame treatment oozes flavor and brings you deeper into the world of Lorwyn.

And how about the other five shocklands that were left out of Edge of Eternities? These special versions offer players the choice of using either illustration on double-sided cards.

The Product Lineup includes the usual suspects but also introduces Theme Decks and Draft Night, the second of which provides players all they need for a four-person Draft Night experience.

The set will also spread the love for Dungeons & Dragons fans. The Lorwyn: First Light digital expansion introduces a new species and monsters to include in their games.

TBA Universes Beyond Set — March 2026

Nothing was said of the surprise set coming in March other than it will be announced soon.

It will be a Universes Beyond set and will be available on tabletop and MTG Arena.

Secrets of Strixhaven — April 2026

Magic returns to Arcavios in April with Secrets of Strixhaven, showing more of the world than just the college and its students. Off-campus life will be the focus as story follows students after graduation.

And for the first time in a long time, a novel will accompany the set providing more lore than just the typical fiction published online.

Omens of Chaos will also come with a promo version of Command Tower, harkening back to the old days of Magic when players could get a book and promo for the latest set release.

Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes — June 2026

The second Marvel set arrives in June with Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes. This set focuses on the heroes and villains of the Marvel world, bringing characters from The Avengers, Fantastic Four, and more into the world of Magic. Enjoy these Magic illustrations of heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, and more.

The many villains include Thanos, MODOK, Absorbing Man, Viper, Moon Knight, Loki, Leader, and more.

Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit — August 2026

After the incredible success that was The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth it only makes sense to return to that world. Dive deeper into J. R. R. Tolkien’s world with Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit in August.

Join Bilbo Baggins, Thorin, Gandalf, and many of the other iconic characters on their journey next August.

The art translates perfectly to Magic — hey, put that ring down!

Wizards of the Coast (WotC) are keeping its secrets on any other information on the set for now.

Reality Fracture — October 2026

Reality Fracture is the climax of the current multi-year story arc started in Outlaws of Thunder Junction. Very little is known about the set, but Mark Rosewater said it will feature a villain unlike any other in Magic and the set and cards will do something never seen before in the game.

Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek — November 2026

Finally, Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek rounds out the year with one last UB booster release. Get ready for warp speed as the Starship Enterprise, Captain Kirk, Chancellor Gowron, and more beam themselves into the game of Magic.
