Wizards of the Coast (WotC)’s parent company, Hasbro, has shared their First Quarter 2022 report, detailing a strong start to the year for Magic: The Gathering.

Hasbro’s gaming category, headlined by Magic and Monopoly, reported $378.8 million in net revenues in the first quarter, an increase of 4% compared to Q1 of 2021, while revenue for Magic specifically increased 7% (including tabletop and digital).

Additionally, February’s Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty reported a revenue increase of 28% compared to the previous year’s Kaldheim, making it not only the “best-selling Winter set of all time” but also the fifth set to generate over $100 million. It has even broken into the “top three Magic sets ever.”

Meanwhile, on the digital front, Magic Arena and D&D digital tabletop also led Hasbro’s digital gaming revenue to a 6% growth.
