Magic: The Gathering has revealed a series of Japan-exclusive buy-a-box promos for Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY.
According to the website translation, those who purchase a Play Booster box of Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY from participating retailers in Japan will get one of the three promos above at random.
The promo most likely to appear (on the left) is a non-foil, borderless Arcane Denial featuring new artwork from Final Fantasy XIV. Next up is a traditional foil version of the same Arcane Denial which will appear at “low probability.” Last is the holy grail of the promos – a borderless Force of Negation with new artwork featuring Sorceress Edea from Final Fantasy VIII.
According to MTG-Japan, there are only 2,000 total copies of the Force of Negation promo, and combined with the campaign’s region exclusivity, it could end up being one of the most coveted Magic promos in years.
