Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced four limited-edition Commander bundles for one of Magic: The Gathering’s most popular Universes Beyond sets, The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth.
Each Deluxe Commander Kit includes the following:
- 1 The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Commander deck
- 2 The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Set Boosters
- 4 Traditional foil promo cards
- 1 Frodo, Determined Hero
- 1 Gandalf, White Rider
- 1 Gollum, Scheming Guide
- 1 The Balrog, Flame of Udun
While there are no new cards included in the bundles, they will include the first traditional foil printings of the four Starter Kit promo cards. You can find the decklists for each of the Commander decks here.
The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Deluxe Commander Kits will be sold exclusively at Costco stores in North America and Canada “…in coming weeks” while supplies last. No pricing information has been revealed at this time.
