Applications for hosting Magic: The Gathering Regional Championship Qualifiers (RCQs) are now open!
Bring the excitement of competitive Magic to your Wizards Play Network (WPN) store! In order to host an RCQ, you must have a WPN location with an approved application on Melee.gg. Follow the steps below to get started.
- Sign up for a Melee.gg account.
- Create an Organization on Melee.gg.
- Apply to host a RCQ with your Organization and your list of WPN Locations.
- Once approved, your will be able to Purchase Event Kits for events in each round based on your WPN level.
Organizer Information
- Sign-ups for hosting Season 3 – Round 1 RCQs: March 11 – June 14, 2024.
- Season 3 – Round 1 RCQ events: April 20 – July 21, 2024.
- Season 3 – Round 1 Regional Championship : October 5 – 6, 2024.
- Takes place at SCG CON Washington D.C..
- Format: Pioneer or the current limited format.
Organizers can purchase kits to run up to three (3) RCQ events per season. The format for this round is Pioneer, however, organizers have the option to select the current Limited format for their RCQ instead.

- 32x Springleaf Drum promotional cards to be distributed to players of the event at the Organizers discretion.
