The format for Magic Spotlight: The Avatar will be Standard Constructed featuring hundreds of new cards from Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender. You can harness the power of the elements at these locations:
- Atlanta, Georgia, USA: January 9–11, 2026 — Hosted by Star City Games
- Lyon, France: January 9–11, 2026 — Hosted by Fanfinity
What is the Spotlight Series?
The Magic Spotlight Series is a collection of large-scale, open events that let anyone play high-level Magic with no pre-qualification required! These two-day events allow players the opportunity to compete for unique and awesome loot, including cash prizes, exclusive promo cards, and invitations to the Pro Tour. Each event also features tons of exciting attractions outside the main event, including vendors, side events, special guests, and more!
What Can I Win?
Each Magic Spotlight: The Avatar event features a $50,000 prize pool with all participants receiving a stunning, non-foil promo card which will be unveiled soon! Additionally, the Top 128 players will receive traditional foil copies of this promo card. The Top 8 players in each main event will also receive invitations to Pro Tour Secrets of Strixhaven, which will be held at MagicCon: Las Vegas on May 1–3, 2026.
