Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has released their weekly MTG Arena update that includes details on Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate, new preorder bundles, and more.
Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate Preorders Coming Soon
Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate preorder bundles will go on sale June 23, featuring a pack bundle with five mythic packs and a play bundle with the mastery pass and first 10 levels. More information on the bundles and the prices will be announced next week.
Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate will feature 81 new cards, some cards from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate, some rebalanced cards from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate for digital play, reprints from Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, and more. The full set is designed for a fun draft experience and to inject more cards into Alchemy and Historic.
Below you can see some of the reprints (Farideh’s Fireball, Portable Hole, and You Come To A River), a card from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate (Ancient Brass Dragon), and two cards (La’zel, Githyanki Warrior and Wyll, Pact-Bound Duelist) that are being reimagined with a mechanic that hasn’t been revealed yet.
Here are two rebalanced cards, featuring Monster Manual from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate and Sepulcher Ghoul from Adventures in the Forgotten Realms.
Fans will be able to get a first look at the new set with the return of the Early Access live stream event on July 5-6. Other events centered around Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate include:
