I didn’t take any notes on the actual draft because of a bunch of other distractions that were going on while I was actually drafting. Needless to say we just moved into a new house and there are more things to do than there is time for.

The one big thing about this draft was taking Rip-Clan Crasher over the second Sigiled Paladin and deciding to splash White. Any other questions I will be happy to address in the forums.

Round 1 my opponent was playing a five color mess. Game 1 he somehow assembled a quick draw with Dragon Fodder Grixis Battlemage and Fleshbag Marauder which killed my first play. My hand was too slow to even get in the game so we were off to game 2 rather quickly. Games 2 and 3 his deck didn’t come together quite so well and even though he wrathed my side with Jund Charm and Fleshbag Marauder in game 3 I still killed him with Predator Dragon a turn later.

Round 2 I played against UBR. Game 1 took forever with us trading my guys for his removal for the most part. Eventually I got a fatty through with Welkin Guide and then finished him off by killing two guys with Branching Bolt and crashing through. Game 2 I got a fast draw including Nacatl and Woolly Thoctar which culminated in an 8/8 Flying Haste Dragon.

Round 3 I played against UWB. Game 1 I kept a great hand on the play with a pair of two drops but also only two lands. Unfortunately I got stuck on those two lands and my opponent curved out with Deft Duelist Esper Battlemage Tower Gargoyle. Game 2 my draw was a bit better but again he had an army of fliers. Both of these games I was outclassed by better cards and kept drawing the Court Archers half of my deck.

See you in the forums.
