Daily Digest: Pod’s Legacy

It was only a matter of time.

For an early pass, CHAOSOFSLAYER’s deck looks pretty nice. He went 3-1 in a Legacy Daily Event and utilizes one of the most underplayed cards in Legacy —
Veteran Explorer. In a Birthing Pod deck, he’s probably one of your best cards.

This deck mostly ports the Modern Melira Pod deck, just with some nice upgrades. Cabal Therapy, Green Sun’s Zenith, and Pernicious Deed are all huge gains
that Modern doesn’t have access to.

Aside from that, this deck foregoes the Melira combo in favor of the Spike Feeder + Archangel of Thune combo, which tells me value is the name of the game.

Obviously the fast combo decks of Legacy can be difficult matchups, but Cabal Therapy and the sideboard should help. If you’re looking to beat up on fair
decks, this is another great option!
