Daily Digest: Mono-Black Devotion Is Still A Powerhouse

Alright, we may have lost Pack Rat and Underworld Connections, but at least we have Squelching Leeches!

Honestly, all we really need is solid mana, Thoughtseize, removal, and card advantage. Having some hateful cards against Whip of Erebos decks probably
helps too.

Erebos, God of the Dead, Doomwake Giant, Abhorrent Overlord, and your own copies of Whip of Erebos make that matchup look pretty good. Mono-Black Devotion
might not be as powerful as it used to be, but it actually looks well-positioned right now.
