Just when I think that every possible Modern hybrid has been done, something else happens to pop up and do well. While it might be “win more,” Primeval Titan plus Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker or Restoration Angel is a combo.
Both Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker require an excess of red mana, so playing both in the same deck ends up working out well. Neither combo has a ton of synergy with the other, but both Restoration Angel and Kiki-Jiki can function as additional mana accelerators with Wood Elves. If you have a Primeval Titan draw, other combo pieces can be used as acceleration, which means your deck will never really be bad at enabling a Valakut kill. Overall, it looks to be a well-put-together deck.
I like the use of Avalanche Riders over something like Fulminator Mage. With eight accelerators, it’s likely you’ll end up playing either on the third turn. On the following turn, you can Restoration Angel on your upkeep to get another use out of the Riders.
