Daily Digest: Combo In Standard Is Unfathomable

I remember a few people saying “Fathom Mage plus Archangel of Thune plus Horizon Chimera is infinite. We just need Chord of Calling and there might be
something there.” Well, we’ve got it, and we also got Yisan, the Wandering Bard as a bonus! Now that we have those, is it enough?

Magic Online user _Soku_ seems to think so. He finished 3-1 in a Daily Event, which is a pretty result, and his deck still looks like a first draft. It
will be interesting to see if he tunes it over the next few weeks. The deck has to be at least Bant and with enough creatures to make Chord of Calling
quite good. Therefore, a green devotion shell makes sense. Sometimes Archangel of Thune alongside Courser of Kruphix or Scavenging Ooze is the only combo
you need.

Past that, he’s got some Detention Spheres for removal and a host of bullets, which is in no way surprising considering he has six tutors. This deck is as
customizable as you could possibly want, so have fun with it.
