We’ve seen people talk about it
, but afruc15 is actually making it happen.
This is mostly a Sidisi, Brood Tyrant deck, but occasionally you’ll assemble the biggest, baddest Soulflayer the world has ever seen. Sylvan Caryatid and
Silumgar, the Drifting Death provide the hexproof, while Chromanticore provides basically everything else. Commune with the Gods searches for Soulflayer,
but it can also find Tasigur, the Golden Fang. If your mana is perfect, you might even want a Chromanticore.
I like that even if your combo isn’t coming together, you’re still doing something productive by milling yourself. Perhaps a Soul of Innistrad could work
its way into the deck as a way to rebuy some Soulflayers that were either killed or milled over by Sidisi or Satyr Wayfinder.
The manabase is a little sketchy (and likely wants Temple of Malady instead of Jungle Hollow), but I understand the desire to want to cast Chromanticore
should you happen to draw it. Regardless, a manabase with more tri-lands might be more helpful than trying to make the fetchlands work.
