Similar to the decks that Glenn Jones was working on before he went to Wizards of the Coast, today’s deck features a card drawing engine rarely seen in Legacy — Standstill!
In order to make sure the Standstills work in his favor, Klobster runs a Faithless Looting package featuring multiple Bloodghasts. Innocent Blood works well with both of them, as it’s cheap removal that helps keep the board clear for Standstill, and it’s basically one-sided when you have a Bloodghast. Dack Fayden is another great card when you’ve got a bunch of Bloodghasts, but it can also sift through dead removal against creatureless decks.
I’m a little surprised not to see any Cabal Therapy in the 75, but maybe they’re not worth it without Gitaxian Probe. There’s a singleton Entomb, but I could easily see having access to more of those, especially since Reanimate plus Keranos, God of Storms is pretty cute, and it even gets around Containment Priest!
