Is Rrozanski Sam Black’s secret MTGO account? With this decklist, I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case.
Collected Company is capable of generating some nice value, but most people are just looking to put some solid beaters into play. This deck tries to take
that a bit further and get a real snowball effect going.
Grim Haruspex is one of the best cards to find with Collected Company, especially in response to a sweeper or inside of combat. With all the creature decks
in Standard, you’ll naturally be trading a lot in combat. Combined with Qarsi High Priest, you can really start going off.
Sultai Emissary, Whisperwood Elemental, and Qarsi High Priests are going to leave some random manifests behind, so you don’t really mind having to
sacrifice a creature to Merciless Executioner. All those bodies combine well with the miser’s copy of Dictate of Erebos also.
In the sideboard, there are some Bloodsoaked Champions to provide even more resiliency against control. This deck might not be off the charts in power
level, but what it lacks there, it more than makes up for in synergy.
