Although many players tell us that the Richmond, Virginia Prereleases are the most enjoyable events they attend, we’re continually striving to make them even bigger and better. For the upcoming Ravnica Prerelease, I think our players are going to be quite happy this time around. Check this out…
* TWO BIG DAYS!
I am proud to announce that the Richmond, VA Prerelease will now be run as a two-day event. Richmond area players will now be able to participate in Ravnica Prerelease events on both Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th!
* SATURDAY – STAR CITY “POWER NINE” TOURNAMENT SERIES!
The Star City “Power Nine” Vintage Tournament Series has become the largest series of its kind in the world, and, as fans know, the Richmond stops are always held alongside the Richmond Prerelease! Saturday, September 24th will be no exception and Vintage fans will have another shot at taking home their share of a full set of “Power Nine”!
* SUNDAY – STAR CITY “DUEL FOR DUALS” LEGACY TOURNAMENT!
That’s right fans! Since so many Vintage players have the cards, and will already be in town for the “Power Nine” tournament, we’ve added a special Legacy event on Sunday, September 25th! This special tournament will not allow any proxies, award of total of one-hundred (yes, 100!) dual lands to the T8 finishers, and a strong turnout may even result in us hosting similar events on a regular basis!
* BOTH DAYS – MEET ARTIST CHRISTOPHER MOELLER!
In addition to being the artist of Twincast and Umezawa’s Jitte, Chris also illustrated Meddling Mage, Pernicious Deed, Samurai of the Pale Curtain, Seal of Cleansing, Seal of Fire, Voidmage Prodigy (Player Rewards Alternate Art) and over a hundred other Magic: the Gathering cards! We expect Chris’s line to be very long, so be sure to get there early!
* RAVNICA TEAM SEALED & TWO-HEADED GIANT EVENTS!
