Back in March, Bo Jackson Battle Arena (BoBA) introduced the “grail card for an entire generation” — a one-of-one Touchdown! Bo Jackson gold superfoil autograph card.
According to the BoBA team, a “well-known BoBA collector” set a whopping $100K bounty for the card almost immediately after it was revealed during a live stream event. Yet, over a month later, the Bo Jackson Battle Arena X account has stated that the game’s ultimate chase still hasn’t made a public appearance.
Obtainable through Tecmo Bowl Edition Hobby and Double Mega boxes, the one-of-one Touchdown! Bo Jackson card depicts an iconic pixel-art screen of Bo Jackson himself, officially licensed from the classic Techmo Bowl arcade game from 1987.
The chase doesn’t stop there however, as Tecmo Bowl Edition also contains extremely rare Black Variants of Touchdown! Bo Jackson, serialized with a population of just 34 copies and signed by Jackson with gold ink.
